ITINERARY
SATURDAY 26th
Depart Morayfield via Kilcoy, Blackbutt, Nanango, Goomeri, Ban Ban Springs, Childers to Bargara.
Approx. Distance: 450km
Approx. Travel Time : 5.5 hours (excluding morning tea and lunch)
DIRECTIONS:
Meet at BP Roadhouse Caboolture for an 8.15 departure.
- Head north on the Bruce Hwy taking the Caboolture exit signs for Kilcoy (8.6km).
- Continue on D’Aguilar Hwy (Route 85) passing through Kilcoy, Blackbutt and Yarraman.
- Continue through Yarraman on Burnett Hwy (A3) stopping at Nanango
MORNING TEA: BYO morning tea stop of 30 mins.
- Continuing to Goomeri and Ban Ban Springs. At Ban Ban Springs, turn right onto Isis Hwy (A52) signs for Biggenden/Childers.
LUNCH: 1 Hour - will be in Biggenden at members' expense.
- After lunch continue on the Isis Hwy (A52) for Childers.
- At Childers turn right on the National Hwy A1 (signs for Maryborough).
- After 1.8 km turn left onto Goodwood Road (signs for Woodgate Beach).
- Continue for 50km to Bundaberg.
- In Bundaberg Goodwood Road becomes Barolin Street (2kms).
- Turn right into Walker Street which becomes Fe Walker Street and continue onto Burnett Heads Road (7.5km).
- At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Bargara Road / Bundaberg-Bargara Road. Continue to follow Bundaberg-Bargara Road (approx. 6km).
