For the month of October, we are heading to Goombungee, a small rural town for lunch.
Goombungee is approx 110km north-west of central Brisbane and 35 km north-west of Toowoomba. The name was derived from the Goombungee pastoral run, taken up by Charles Pitt in 1847.
Lunch is at own expense, to talk to the pub re their menu call 07 4696 5239
The convoy will leave at 9:30am from,
Goupong park, Namatjira Drive, Collingwood Park ( Redbank )
BYO Morning Tea, picnic set table and chairs.
Route from Redbank to Goombungee:
Travel to Esk, take Esk Hampton Road up the range.
Take Hampton Toowoomba Road , turn right off Toowoomba Rd to Goombungee
Arrive at Hotel at approx 11:30 AM
