Monthly Run Kenilworth Hotel and Brewery

For our monthly run we are heading for Lunch at the Kenilworth Hotel and Brewery. Kenilworth is a lovely small township located on the sunshine coast hinterland. We have often driven through Kenilworth but now it is time to stop and take a look at what this small town has to offer. Kenilworth Hotel was established in 1939 and is in its original Art Deco Style. The Brewery businessstarted in 1984 they have a range of craft beers something for all beer lovers. Things to do in Kenilworth,
Kenilworth Dairy offers cheese tasting, sales of yoghurt and cheeses, mousse and ice-
cream. There is also a Café at the Dairy which offers light meals, coffee, and cheese platters.
Thereare also many small cafes and a bakery and small gifts shops to browse through.
The plan is to leave BP Caboolture Road house to give us enough time to arrive in the Township of Kenilworth, for morning tea. This gives us enough time to BYO morning tea to have in the park or to have a coffee and morning tea at the Dairy, or any of the other local cafés, and browse the local shops in time for lunch at the Kenilworth Hotel and Brewery for midday. Parking is available side street to Hotel or near the Park in town.
Depart 9.00am from the BP Caboolture Roadhouse. Then follow the M1 ramp to Sunshine Coast,
Take the exit towards Steve Irwin Way, Keep left at the fork and merge onto Steve Irwin Way,
Merge onto Steve Irwin Way, Turn left onto Railway St, Railway St turns left and becomes Maleny St,
At the roundabout, take the 2 nd exit and stay on Maleny St, Continue onto Landsborough Maleny Rd,
Continue onto Bunya st, At the roundabout, continue straight onto Maple St, Continue onto Beech
St, Continue onto Cedar St, Continue onto Macadamia Dr, Continue on to Maleny Kenilworth Rd,
Continue to Elizabeth Rd Kenilworth. Driving distance 98km time 1hr 28 min.
10.30am arrival morning Tea, BYO in the Park or one of the many cafes. Time to browse through
town.
12.00pm Lunch Kenilworth Hotel and Brewery, Cost $26 Alternate Drop, Dessert and Tea and Coffee.
