Extraordinary General Meeting, Wednesday

We are holding an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to discuss and vote on the proposed changes to the Incorporated Rules of the Club.  The Committee will also be seeking approval from the EGM to allocate a special budget for the club’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.

All members are encouraged to attend this important meeting and be part of the discussion and voting on these important proposals. A reminder please that only members who are financial are able to vote at the EGM.

Absentee Voting

If you are unable to attend the EGM and would like to vote on the proposed changes to the Incorporated Rules and on the special 50th Anniversary Budget, you can do this in two ways:

1. Appointing a Proxy

Please complete and return the attached Proxy Form as per the instructions on the Form, by 5pm on 14th April 2021.

2. Postal Ballot

Please print the attached document with the Motions for the EGM re the Proposed Changes,

Circle or tick your vote for each of the 31 motions,

Write your name and membership number on the top of the document,

Either scan and email the document to secretary@mbcq.com.au (preferred) or post to the Club’s PO Box 362, Spring Hill QLD 4004 by 5pm on 14th April 2021.

Please follow the same process if you wish to send a postal ballot for the motion regarding the special 50th Anniversary Budget.
