Monthly Run - “Fox and Hound”

Experience a typical English pub in sunny Queensland.

The Fox and Hound Country Inn is situated in what seems like the middle of nowhere, but it is well worth the trek. If you're originally from the motherland or just a bit of a pom at heart, you'll love wining and dining in this all Brit establishment.

Furnished with ye olde style English furniture and decorated with all sorts of English tidings and memorabilia - once you step inside the Inn it feels like you've instantly been transported across the world, to a quaint but vibrant village pub. In fact you can even step inside an iconic English telephone booth or get your picture taken with the Queen!

TIME: Meet at Logan River Parklands [UBD Map 263 R13] AT 10:00am for a 10:45am departure VENUE: Fox & Hounds [UBD Gold Coast Map 4 N11]. We will have a nice leisurely drive over Mt Tamborine.

Driving Instructions: Approx travelling time: 45 mins

• As you leave Logan River Parklands head south-east on Blackbird St (850 m).
• At the roundabout, take the 5th exit onto City Rd (550 m).
• Turn right onto Logan St/​State Route 92 (signs for Waterford/​Beaudesert). Continue to follow State Route 92 Go through 2 roundabouts (24.4 km)
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Tamborine Mountain Rd/​State Route 95 (10.7 km)
• Turn left onto Eagle Heights Rd (1.1km) •    At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Long Rd (500m)
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Macdonnell Rd (2.1km) •    Continue onto Tamborine-Oxenford Rd (6km)
• Turn left onto Elevation Drive Your destination will be on the left at the corner.
