10:30am - depart BP Caboolture Roadhouse (Burpengary) and take the M1 to Gympie and on the southern outskirts of Gympie take the turn-off to Tin Can Bay.
Approx travelling time: 3 hrs (no stops) Approx distance: 270km
12:30pm: Lunch stop at Tin Can Bay. Either BYO picnic lunch or you may wish to purchase your lunch at one of the shops (at members’ expense) – Tin Can Yacht Club, Barnacles, or Snack Shack
2:30pm: depart Tin Can Bay for Minerals Sands Motel, 75 Ferry St, Maryborough
Time your arrival for approx. 4:00pm at the Mineral Sands Motel, 75 Ferry Street, Maryborough
5:30pm: BYO drinks and nibbles get together remembering social distancing followed by a BBQ carpark dinner hosted by Graham Orr. Picnic gear is essential for the dinner as there is limited furniture available.
Sunday 13th June – Annual Waverley Show, 22 Sea Eagle Drive, Yengarie, Maryborough
7:30am – 8:30am – breakfast hosted by Graham Orr
From 9am: The Annual Waverley Cameron Mercedes-Benz Show and Shine held at 22 Sea Eagle Drive, Yengarie, Maryborough. A good excuse to meet many of the Wide Bay members. BYO picnic gear including tables, chairs, refreshments and enjoy both the cars and the company. Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided.

Monday 14th June– return home or continue your holiday.

$360 /couple - which includes 2 nights’ accommodation and 2 dinners
or $390/couple - which includes 2 nights’ accommodation, 2 dinners, and Sunday morning breakfast
or $310/single - which includes 2 nights’ accommodation and 2 dinners
or $325 /single - which includes 2 nights’ accommodation, 2 dinners, and Sunday morning breakfast
Local members are welcome to attend the dinners ($25/adult/dinner) and the breakfast ($15/adult). If you don’t want to attend all three meals then please indicate your preference. Payment deadline as below. I will leave you to do the sums!!!
